Named after the famous Puerto Rican poet Clemente Soto Velez, the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center is not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for emerging and established artists based in New York City. The center was founded by three men, novelist Ed Vega, and actors Mateo Gomez and Nelson Landrieu. The center features all types of events, from films and theatrical productions to arts and crafts.
