Hut's Hamburgers

Hut's has been around as we know it since 1981. The walls are covered with memorabilia going further into the past since the business predecessors conceived of it as Sammie's Drive-In in 1939. This is a perfect place to take out-of-town visitors if you want them to be amazed at the vintage-feeling Texas decor.

The food: hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and po-boys. With twenty types of hamburger, all with fun names, customers should have something to talk about when they dine at Hut's. "Do you feel like a Chubby today or a Beachboy?" "Oh - I'm feeling kind of Mr. Blue."

Also on the menu are salads and a vegetarian burger. A Daily Blue Plate Special is served through both lunch and dinner on Mondays through Fridays.

You do have the option to select a buffalo-meat patty for your burger, but don't overlook the peppered onion rings. They are the perfect deep-fried accompaniment to that healthy lean buffalo-meat.

The Deals: Hamburger Happy Hours, 2-for-1, are every Wednesday from 6 - 10pm. You can get the same deal for Veggie Burgers on Monday nights.
